SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed with regards to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is read more no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The service position designed for intervention activities a large influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and maximize access status sassa to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
